NUSEA's 20th!

This weekend we are excited to join friends and family of the urban squash community to celebrate 20 amazing years of the National Urban Squash & Education Association!

The morning began with a leadership conference at the University Club, which featured a full day of presentations, panel discussions and meetings for the staff, board members, and supporters of urban squash as well as leaders in the education foundation and nonprofit communities. Wendy Kopp, founder of Teach for America, was the keynote speaker for the afternoon and reflected on the feats and failures she’s witnessed at TFA since starting the program when she was just 22 years old! We were also delighted to have our Director of College Success, Assumpta Galang, faciliatate a panel with urban squash alumni.

Meanwhile back in Harlem, StreetSquash was in full swing as our staff members prepared to host the 10th Annual Urban Team Nationals! The tournament just kicked off this evening and we can’t way to see how our StreetSquashers do! Best of luck to everyone competing!
