Yesterday afternoon we watched along as our most dedicated volunteer, Joe Kazemi, was interviewed by NBC.com with his StreetSquash mentee, Daequan Leslie. The mentor/mentee pair spoke with NBC about their unique relationship at StreetSquash, and how grateful they are to have found each other. “If it wasn’t for StreetSquash, we probably never would have met,” said Joe.

Following the interview, Joe and Daequan had the amazing opportunity to play in the glass court with professional squash player Nicolas Müller. As an added bonus, eight of our StreetSquash athletes participated in a pro-clinic with professional squash players Nicolas Müller and Mathieu Castagnet as their instructors.
