SEA Job Opportunities Summer 2022

SEA is excited to share a few summer opportunities this Summer. We are looking for tournament assistants (TAs) for SEA Individual Nationals in Philadelphia, PA, from June 3-5th, and several roles for our 5-week Summer Academy at the Kent School in Kent, CT, July 5 – August 5. Below are overviews of the roles, and linked are the job descriptions.

Tournament Assistants: TA’s will work at the Individual Nationals Tournament from Friday, June 3 – Sunday, June 5 in Philadelphia, PA. TA’s will help monitor courts and update draws; assist with tournament set-up, clean-up, and take-down; and provide help as needed throughout the weekend. Prior experience as a player/assistant at SEA squash tournaments is desired but not required. Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Please note that SEA may assist with housing, but TAs must arrange their own travel to/from the Philadelphia area.

SEA Summer Academy Opportunities: SEA is hiring squash coaches, camp counselors, and teachers for SEA’s Summer Academy. SEA is also hiring a summer intern/camp counselor that will support the preparation of the Summer Academy. This role will require 2+ days a week in SEA’s New York City office (9am-5pm) leading up to the Summer Academy in June, then will support as a camp counselor at the Summer Academy in Kent, CT from July-August.

The Summer Academy is five weeks of summer squash camps (3 different sessions) at the Kent School in Connecticut. The opportunity is for the most highly motivated and hardest-working squash players within the SEA network to train, learn and grow.
