Week 1 of Summer Discovery complete, and what an awesome week it was! Each morning our students would report to their homerooms based on their team color. Each team participated in team building activities during homeroom and throughout their core classes to build relationships among their teammates of all different grades and ages. Outside of core classes, our students had the opportunity to choose two different elective courses, which ranged from spoken word, portrait making, outdoor games at Morningside Park and squash. The week ended with Team Purple taking the lead in the StreetSquash games, finishing out the week with 102 points.
