Kylie VanLuvender Social Worker

Kylie grew up in Warwick, New York, and has worked with kids in various capacities starting at a young age through service projects, summer camps, and babysitting. During this time, she discovered her passion for mental health recognizing that young people often need support as they go through developmental changes.

She has a Bachelor’s in psychology from New Paltz. While in school, she also worked as the head pediatric dental assistant at a dental clinic. Following her graduation at New Paltz she went on to obtain her Master’s Degree at Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Services.  During her final year at Fordham, she served as a social work intern at StreetSquash for the 2023-2024 school year.

Kylie will conduct social-emotional learning workshops, wellness groups, student and caregiver intakes, and will do individual mental health counseling with students.

A current resident of Weehawken, New Jersey, Kylie enjoys spending time with her fiance, family, and friends. She loves going to gardens, outdoor art exhibits, and exploring historical buildings. She also enjoys listening to podcasts, watching true crime documentaries, and hanging out with her cat, Winston.
