StreetSquash raised over $110,000 at the 13th Annual Junior Cup, held on April 5 at the SL Green StreetSquash Center. A StreetSquash team and Harlem Squash Club team joined 18 other NYC-area schools and clubs for a fun-filled day of friendly competition and fundraising in support of StreetSquash’s programming.
Each of the 20 teams set a fundraising goal of $5,000, contributing to an overall goal of $100,000 for StreetSquash. Most of the fundraising took place in the months leading up to the Junior Cup, with The Kill Shots leading the charge by raising over $14,500. Close behind was Harlem Squash Club, also bringing in over $14,000. Rounding out the top five were The New York Nicks with over $8,700, The Sassy Squashers with nearly $7,000, and Apawamis at over $6,300.
On an individual level, 14 players raised at least $1,500 each, with three standout players bringing in more than $5,000 individually.

Just Squash It dominated the morning red group, finishing with 18 points, followed by The Sassy Squashers in second place with 12 points.
Rye Country Day was nearly flawless in the morning blue group, earning an impressive 23 out of a possible 24 points. The Nicol Squash Nick Slayers claimed second place with 13 points.
In the afternoon red group, The Kill Shots continued their winning streak with 19 total points, followed by The New York Nicks with 14 points.
The afternoon blue group was led by Open Squash, who finished with 17 points. Tigers for StreetSquash were close behind with 14 points.
