Participants are recruited to StreetSquash beginning in fifth grade, and commit to at least three days of programming each week through high school graduation.
We actively engage students in real-world, meaningful projects. Students explore complex, open-ended questions and challenges, developing deep content knowledge and critical 21st-century skills.
The Academic Program enhances educational experiences through:
• Personalized tutoring
• Project-Based learning
• Financial Literacy
• Test preparation
• Student-led community projects
StreetSquash works closely with students to develop effective study skills and consistent work habits, and collaborates with participants’ educational institutions to ensure student progress.
For our 8th graders, we provide individualized guidance through the high school application process, helping each student find the school that best aligns with their goals, strengths, and needs.
“I’ve seen my grades go up a pretty significant amount from tutoring. It’s been very helpful and impactful towards my grade in a positive way.”
