Lifetime Athletics Bronze

This weekend, I traveled with six StreetSquashers to the Lifetime Athletics Bronze Tournament in Harrison, New York. For several students, this was their first US Squash tournament of the season. All of the StreetSquashers showed a great deal of spunk and grit throughout the weekend, fighting for every point and maintaing excellent sportsmanship. Everyone was wonderful in competing for every point, and making sure to support one other during matches. Overall, it was an incredibly successful trip, with five out of the six StreetSquashers taking home some hardware.

Some highlights from the weekend include:

  • Tindakay ’19 going to five games with Kiran ’17, after thinking she was going to lose easily to her senior teammate
  • Inaijah ’20 securing her first tournament win of the year, taking the GU15 Consolation title
  • Aye ’19 playing the best squash I’ve see her play all year – she did a fantastic job of hustling to every single shot
  • Kiran ’17 using her great serves to clinch a 3rd place finish
  • Bryan ’21 persevering and continuing to give his best effort throughout the weekend, despite two days of extremely difficult matches
  • Conner ’21 playing some excellent squash, clinching a 2nd place finish
