Alondra Rodriguez is StreetSquash’s new Manager of Operations. Her role involves dealing with HR functions of the organization while ensuring that staff’s needs are met. 

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Alondra is a first generation Dominican-American. She majored in Communications and Media Studies at Manhattanville College north of New York City. While there, she also created the school’s first ever Latin-based dance troupe, a group that still exists to this day. She’s been taking dancing and theater classes ever since she was a young child. Her favorite dance style is salsa.

Prior to landing at StreetSquash, Alondra worked as a Project Manager in the nonprofit space and gained HR experience while working in higher education. 

When she’s not working or dancing, Alondra enjoys reading and hopes to one day have her own library. 

In addition to her time in the U.S., Alondra has also lived in The Dominican Republic and Spain.
