StreetSquash is proud to send five teams to this year’s SEA Team Nationals, marking an exciting milestone with the program’s first-ever elementary school squad. The young team features two boys and one girl, making history for the organization.
Joining them are four additional teams: high school boys, high school girls, middle school boys, and middle school girls.
The high school boys enter the tournament as defending champions, having secured three consecutive SEA titles. This year, they’ll aim for a historic four-peat, though a few injuries the team is battling could pose a challenge.
The high school girls, winners of last year’s B Division, face a new test in 2025. With several seniors having graduated, the revamped roster will compete in the top division, looking to make another deep run.
For the second straight year, StreetSquash will send middle school teams to the event. The middle school boys, who gained valuable experience in 2024, return stronger and have earned a first-round bye in the Division II draw. Their top two players recently represented the New York French American Charter School at Middle School Nationals.
The middle school girls, now with another year of experience under their belts, are also poised for a deeper tournament run.
This year’s SEA Team Nationals will take place at both the Arlen Specter U.S. Squash Center and the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Matches at the Specter Center will be livestreamed on the U.S. Squash YouTube page. You can follow the tournament results through Club Locker.
