StreetSquashers Thrive at Unique Community Service Outing

On a frigid Saturday morning in February, four StreetSquash high schoolers met at the StreetSquash building for a unique community service opportunity. Nasir ’17, Nia ’17 Ouli ’17, and Cerina ’19 were nominated by StreetSquash staff to attend an art workshop in downtown Manhattan working with special needs children. Upon their arrival at the art workshop all four students got straight to work. They helped set up the workshop, work with the special needs youth, and did fantastic job mixing and mingling with all of the invited guests.

I am very proud of the AMAZING job they all did. Everyone at the workshop was asking where they were from and commented on the great job they were doing.

Way to go, Ouli, Nia, Cerina and Nasir!!
