StreetSquash’s programs have been made possible through our work with partner organizations and schools in Harlem and beyond our home communities. StreetSquash also collaborates with community organizations to extend the range of services we provide to Harlem children and families. The success of StreetSquash’s educational programs is due to effective partnerships with public schools in Harlem that share our goals of long-term intensive support for disadvantaged youth. All of our partner schools are integrated middle & high schools in the communities we serve, providing continuity and support that extends from the 6th grade through high school graduation.
StreetSquash academic staff have forged strong, lasting relationships with our partner schools through our teachers, administration, and support staff. Academic staff are on site at partner schools on a weekly basis to meet with teachers and staff, so that they can best serve our students’ academic needs.
