StreetSquash Hires New Career Development Coordinator

StreetSquash is excited to bring Kerisha Lewis on staff who will serve as the Career Development Coordinator as part of our College Access, Success, and Alumni Support department.

Kerisha was born and raised in the Bronx but attended high school in Yonkers. She went on to attend SUNY Oswego via their Education Opportunity Program and majored in Political Science. After graduation, she remained on campus to work as the Assistant Director of Student Alumni Engagement for the university. While working for her alma mater, she obtained a Master’s in Strategic Communications.

Through working with students and alumni at my college, I began to develop a passion for working with students and our younger generation, pushing me to seek employment that would be more focused on helping young people develop and grow beyond the classroom,” Kerisha said. “That’s what brought me here to StreetSquash.”

Kerisha is one of ten children and she loves spending time with all nine of her siblings. Don’t expect to see Kerisha arriving to StreetSquash on a Citibike. She says she’s never learned how to ride a bike and has no interest in learning now.
